At Pinehurst, we reduce our environmental impact by using responsible production methods and improving water efficiency across our facilities.
We’re also committed to meeting the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals wastewater standards by 2025—reinforcing our dedication to sustainability and a healthier planet.
Waste Management
- Carton & Paper: it’s turned into napkins, toilet paper and pampers.
- Plastics: turned into raw material (Pelletized plastic)
- Metals: turned into raw material.
- Turned into raw material for: acoustic insulation, fibers for automobile industry, special papers, recycled threads, furniture, sport articles, food packaging and others.
- Incinerated in Clinker Rotative Ovens at 1,450°C to use as Biomass fuel in the Cement Industry
- Closed Incineration.
- Sanitary Landfill authorized by the City Hall (Cafeteria & Bathroom waste).
Water Optimization
